WHAT I'M READING NOW: 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami

1Q84 by Haruki Murakami

I've been meaning to explore Haruki Murakami's work. I've heard many opinions about it—both positive and negative—so I've come to the conclusion that I need to form my own opinion. The accolades for his writing are remarkable, and the criticism is just as dismal. As I write this blog post, I'm on chapter one of 1Q84, and so far, the illustrative nature of his writing is quite impressive. I feel as if I'm actually in traffic in Tokyo, rocking a superb mini, about to dangle down a fire escape-like ladder.

Have you read it? I would love to know your opinion in the comments!
