I'm Martha Argelia.  I create most of the artwork and write most of the stories you see here on MarthaArgelia.com. 

 

I'm a Dominican-American native New Yorker. Growing up, I was surrounded by the vibrant energy of art, food, music, and storytelling. These elements continue to be my deepest source of inspiration.

I was the founder and editor of lifestyle blog, Lela Luxe. After it became syndicated to Tyra Banks' TypeF.com, I contributed to various national publications such as Haute Living Magazine, The HBO Blog, El Diario NYC, and several others.

Now, I'm back to writing on my terms.
